but it look great to enjoy video game
There is your answer. If you play games on the PC such ARMA 3, buy a gaming laptop instead.
That's completely wrong. The knockoffs have theoretically faster processing, but they have trash TDP and are crippled with Windows. And the controls are upside down.
I believe that's been pretty much debunked as it would make absolutely no sense to release one anytime soon. Most likely the Steam Deck 2 will be 2026 or 2027 when technology has advanced further so they're a significant difference and the price can be reasonable.
who's actually supporting those things? steam support? so if it breaks they'll tell me to contact the OEM and the OEM will tell me to contact steam who will tell me to contact the OEM who will tell me to contact steam... etc.
no thank you.
Step 1: Contact Steam Support
Step 2: Wait for email
Step 3: Back up and factory reset Steam Deck
Step 4: Send Steam Deck to Valves repair center
so who have they conned into supporting this thing they obviously don't offer full support for themselves? and where does "the buck stop" with them and it's just "sorry, there's some error with your steam deck and it no longer functions... since we've provided all the information we can we're closing your support ticket."
especially considering they keep trying to whesel out of supporting the products they've already sold me...
Without actual context behind your scenario I can't actually tell if you where at fault or Valve was at fault.
Are you outside for 3 hours playing the deck?
Can you charge it whenever you want?
Get it if you say yes to these three
I have a SD and ROG Ally, I PLAY my Steam Deck daily and use my Ally to watch YouTube.
Plus the Steam Deck has system wide FSR that works on every game. No other handheld can offer that.
