I Would Like 'Star Wars' Alot More If It Featured The Solar System And Milky Way
I feel like I'm not "learning" anything from watching Star Wars.....it's all fantasy.

At least in Call of duty infinite warfare you get to explore the solar system, and there was effort to make it realistic. When the trailer of infinite warfare came out it became the most thumbs down video on YouTube. People were OUTRAGED about call of duty "copying" star wars, and people were saying how star wars should sue call of duty....

But what these people don't realize is infinite warfare is strictly within the solar system, star wars never once featured the solar system or even the Milky Way.

The only FPS that featured the solar system before infinite warfare was destiny 2014, but that game wasn't on PC, also it was online only.

I'm not that familiar with 'Star Trek' but I heard it's based in the Milky Way which I think is more "Tame" than Star Wars.

But what if they travel really far, outside their galaxy, and end up near the milky way?

But then we'd also need really old constellations, because it's also a long, long time ago.

Its incredibly difficult to make scifi realistic. Even the expanse which is considered one of the most realistic shows is really terrible in my opinion.

Star wars is set in a galaxy far away before our time. Milky way might not even exist at the time.

If that’s what you are looking for in a sci-fi setting, I’d recommend the Expanse. It still has some elements that stem purely from fantasy but it is more grounded in reality than Star Wars or Star Trek

there are lots of sci-fi games that feature stories in our own solar system. "The Expanse" is one. Also, Lone Echo.

Star Wars is a fantasy franchise. It's not about technical nor scientific details, but adventure fighting against space nazis.

it would be cool if they traveled all the way to our solar system in one of the movies
