But tbf, I haven't played factorio, so I can't really compare much of the two.
That's a tough one.
I think that you might consider this:
Do you like moving your character and interacting in complex ways when finding paths through 3D space in a realistic environment? Is that a primary consideration for you or do you also enjoy 2D isometric games?
I think both are likely to be very good games, though Factorio has had longer development and just recently released a "Space" expansion, I think.
Check your system to be sure you're fine with the min/max system specs of both.
I think the surer choice right now is Factorio. But, yes, Satisfactory is shaping up to be a pretty interesting competitor.
PS: I haven't played either, I've just sort of watched them progress and check out Let's Play vids and the like to learn more about their gameplay and mechanics. I don't know a lot about Satisfactory, though, so I am making a few assumptions, there.
