I only get worried when governments, or worse, supranational governments and their agencies start mandating this stuff, because when they're wrong, like they almost always are, there is no other choice.
What we have on planet right now are class 1 food replicators which require an input of raw materials and where materials that are not given are replaced by other materials like plastics usually, often latex.
A class 3 replicator fully creates all materials from potential energy and requires conscious component to create.
In either case, the meat is not grown as its more akin to 3d printing the item ready to consume form.
That's why I've said I'd rather "hunt my own meat", I'm sure it will not be sprayed with chemicals if I'm the one hunting it in the first place. ^^
We also have some hogs / foxes problems here anyway and both are delicious so it's a "win-win" situation from my point of view.
For me the real problem is simply that we eat too much meat and especially too much red meat (beef mainly). Humans in nature are supposed to hunt mainly small / medium games, like rabbits or birds, so white meat. I think peoples should consume less meat and a different kind of meat to fix most problems we may see about meat production today.
+ Farm animals are essential to grow crops, as they fertilise the ground, so we will always need those anyway.
I simply don't see what added value bring artifical meat products for me, it bring only more risks imo.

I think I would rather have a real chicken.
