Have you ever seen someone with Polidactilia?
Polidactilia is a genetical transtorno where someone has more fingers on the feet or the hand (or both 😳)

On hands, I remember there is the possibility to just have 6 fingers (5 fingers + thumb) or 4 fingers and 2 thumbs...

I have no idea if other spieces have this, I only know cats can have this genetical transtorno 🤔

I wonder if Pokémon can have these type of genetical transtornos too 🤔

I also wonder how humans with this condition wear socks and what they have to do with gloves...

Yes. I knew a girl that had an extra toe on one foot. Well, just that one of her toes split into two at the very last joint, that is. She didn't have any issues with it, but it wasn't very pronounced.

IIRC, in some severe cases, they may get amputated at a young age to avoid stigma/problems/etc. For some, they're not always fully functional.

I heard that Joseph Stalin had 6 fingers on his foot. I don't know if it's true or not.

yea if the womb doesn't mold the bones together they can split. it's a pretty traumatic process for everyone involved, molding a baby into shape, so there's a lot of physical stressors and tensors that tend to create these splits if the womb doesn't press back.

thus why it's such a painful and unpleasant expereince for everyone involved.

you wear the socks like normal. it's extra-uncomfortable for you. or you stop wearing socks.

nobody coddles you, just like they ignore everyone with more-debilitating conditions. unless they're worth money to pretend to fix, which this isn't.

Oh, that sounds painful...

It's almost always a duplication of an existing digit and tend to share the same nerves and tendons, and can't be moved independently. I'm not aware of anyone that has an additional, independent, fully functional digit.

They wanted to take one of my toes to try and give my stumped up hand a digit after the war. I told them no, and overall am glad I did. You adapt just fine over time.

I was told buy a guy once that if your second toe is as long or longer than your big toe, your ancestors were long distance walkers. Idk but it made me look. Lol.

No, I never met someone like that irl, but something similar would be a person with syndactyly, a condition wherein two or more digits of the hand are fused together, I actually hadn't even noticed until she told me and I paid attention.
I've seen someone with polka dots, does that count?
I have seen a lot of cartoon characters with only 4 fingers...

What is a polka dot??

A series of round dots popular in sweden in the 16th century, which became associated with the Polish owing to Swedish propaganda campaigns designed to confuse the cultural identities of everyone between Switzerland and Sweden.

Once those countries no longer had a national identity, Sweden and Switzerland would sweep through and counquer central europe.

Their plan hinged on using mercenaries to attack Poland and gradually divide it, and they used these 'dotted' mercenaries for it. So that they would know not to attack eachother. Eventually Poland wound up with so many dotted waffenrocks, clothing, and uniforms that they started cutting them up and using them as patches and things. Wearing them at Polkas and such.

Thus the polka dot.

The three dots agreement bears a conspicuous resemblance to the 'command dots' put on the shoulders of mercenary go-betweens who were members of Swiss or Swedish intelligence, posing as mercenaries in order to coordinate them. Sort of like epaulets, except mercenaries couldn't afford epaulets. They'd be better off selling them for supplies. Thus the dots.
