I was thinking of putting Kryptonite in a lightsaber.
lana lang has hurt the feelings of clark kent. imagine how much more can a lightsaber do damage.
in a real fight between jedi and sith combo versus superman, superman will always win due to his speed, laser eyes, and strength.
he can lure the jedi into the dark side by 'join me and together we will destroy the sith'.
he can lure the sith into the light side by using his laser eyes to lit the candles in a dark room
But not any crystal would work with a lightsaber.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lightsaber_crystal
"At the heart of every lightsaber was a set of crystals that resonated to produce the efficient, powerful blade."
If the crystal didn't resonate, then it wouldn't work. Aside from that, I don't remember kryptonite being a crystal, but a stone.
http://superman.wikia.com/wiki/Kryptonite
Though some crystaline forms have been shown, the structure would be diffrent as it is not a natural formation, such as the crystals used in lightsabers.
But the lightsaber can not cut everything, for example, other lightsabers, special rods with some kind of current running through it and most likely energy fields of some kind. There may even be more substances it can't cut.
Because StarWars is set in the far past of our world. Its a fairtale in space, which is why it starts with "A long time ago in a galaxy far away"
Marvel has no need for Jedi. What is a Jedi compared to a mutant like Jean Grey or Charles Xavier? What is a Jedi next to someone like Magneto? And those aren't even some of the more powerful examples.
Also in a universe in which a literal hell dimension exists and no embodies good and evil force exists.. how would you explain the force?
It would basically go like Rocket seeing a Jedi and being like "There is one of those religious nutjobs, explaining psi power as some 'force' nonsense"
And just for the sake of the record... Marvel has been doing StarWars comics for much longer than Marvel being possessed by Disney.
Fairtales and Contemporary Fiction doesn't mix well.
So they're basically like every company that's ever existed?
No, you've just never had good fanservice (non-anime) delieverd to you.
superman vs saitama now
I think it could cut him.
Superman would beat the Jedi.
