They see that buying houses, having families or retiring is too unaffordable.

The post title made me laugh.

ty for that.

Yes and this have been known for a long time. Housing, education and retirement have gotten much less affordable over the last decades and nowdays even things like cars is also moving that direction.

Just look at happiness index, countries like USA and Canada ranks well if just based on the elderly but ranks much worse when looking at the youngest and the economy is probably a major factor here.

But that is kinda dumb, and also infers they are poor. I think they have been seduced by the spirits of slothfulness, pride and gluttony.

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. - Ephesians 6:12

Productivity of the average american worker is about $150k and average pay after taxes is $50k, why would somebody want to work in that economy?

People have figured out they being massively underpaid and/or overtaxed.

If gen z gets drafted, they won't have to worry about having families, buying houses or retiring. . . .
The median salary would be around $100k if it followed productivity since early 70s, that would make a huge difference. Also everyone except the very top % would earn more than they do if it scaled with productivity.

Many people today don't even earn what federal minimum wage would been if it was adjusted with productivity growth which would be something over $25/h today which is quite telling.

Like take a look at this, the inequality growth is just absurd, the bottom 25% is far far poorer than it should be and everything up to including top 95% also earn probably less than they would with no inequality growth.

same here lol - instead they embrace the activist lifestyle they were told to by "higher education". Sad.

Some are waking up from their woke nightmare, thankfully...

How are you able to pay for stuff then?

The problem is this. Gen Zers are way young. But this won't last and they will be in their 40s soon enough. No job. Nothing. Good luck surviving.
Not dumb, just lazy and entitled.

LOL

You don't need to be "smart" to realize you can't afford something.

Now, one may need a brain cell or two to question WHY they can't afford anything and what political side or businesses are causing things to be unaffordable so that they can do all they can to prevent or reverse it before it is too late. :owl_think:

Wages today are significantly worse than they was compared to their relative position 50 years ago.

True, Gen Z also struggles with dating/social skills (the result of growing up in the digital age)
Earning $100k as median income in USA compared to like $60k would make a massive impact for people, especially the young that tend to have the least wealth. 1975 economy looks far better for the people than the current one, the inequality have made stuff much harder than they was back during those times.
