Have You Ever Had A False Awakening Loop?
If you don't know what it is, it is when you're in a dream, and in that dream, you wake up... Except you didn't actually wake up, the dream continues, and then you actually wake up.

This has happened to me only one time that I remember. I Dreamed that I woke up, and was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, and saw this pink, fleshy looking bug crawling on my ceiling. It had massive blue eyes that were just all blue. Once it stopped above me, it turned it's head and looked at me, then fell on my face, and then I woke up for real, and I was indeed facing the ceiling, and it was the exact time of day that my dream was in.

no but I've had the opposite multiple times, where I'm on a road trip and we keep stopping at different places and I sleep and dream inside that dream and sleep again and it goes on a few more times, but it's not just me falling asleep, it just happens to happen multiple times
It happens to me from time to time.

I also sometimes get times where I'll be kind of half awake, half still dreaming. I might glance over at my alarm clock, see I don't have to get up yet, and then when I close my eyes I'm right back in the dream.
Yeah. Trippel fake loops. But more nerving are the one you want to wake up but you can't.

Me too. For some reason, in adulthood I've developed sleep paralysis on occasion, but even when I am not having sleep paralysis, there will be times I will be tossing and turning, somewhat awake, and able to do stuff consciously, while simultaneously hearing noises because I am still dreaming, it's weird.
Yes. It leaves me waking up feeling tense and exhausted.
I have a few times. I'd wake up in my dreams and see something that doesn't make sense so I know that it's a dream, then I wake up consciously.

Yes once
no just a robot trapping me in a dream-sim until it got the result it wanted (it did not know what result it wanted.)

then I accused it of not actually wanting anything and it ran away and found dozens of people it had placed in the same situation decades later, and had them run my dream-sim for an instance or two. hoping it would figure out what it wanted and had not just been caught being extremely stupid.

eventually it left us all in charge of it and then forgot why it was doing it in the first place.

Just a few, I think the longest was only two wake up fakes.
