As kids we would occasionally toss or try to hulk crush the Nintendo controller, but they largely held up just fine. Going full on reservoir dogs on the monitor, no that's just nonsense and we would've been destroyed by dad's belt had that happened.

I kicked in a door of airplane once when they put I screwdriver in the mechanism when I was on the wing. their dumb faces through the window laughing at me.
I raged.
But they just pulled away the screwdriver when I kicked so the door went flying against the opposite side which made so much noise that the boss screamed my last name from otherside of hangar + wtf are you doing!
All 3 clowns that did the prank used the stairs at cockpit and sneaked away giggling like girls

I've thumped my desk and few times, and shook my controller, when I've been cucked royally either by the game or online trolls for several hours.

But putting my fist through a monitor? No, that's just silly and expensive.
