The trouble with Reddit is that it's full of Redditors.

because their karma systems is specifically designed to put people with the highest degree of brain damage at the very top of the page while everyone else with higher head density sinks down below

As a person who post regularly on Reddit it’s mostly for upvotes. If you’re gonna pick a side might as well join the winning team.

I mean... just imagine having a "public forum"... but if 5 people on THE ENTIRE INTERNET disagree with you it just hides your opinion...

because that's not highly abusable at all...

I mean ya, there are subs where you can basically farm upvotes... I used to post on the /memes thing and I don't think I ever got a negative number of votes cuz people don't really care... I got like 4000+ points or w.e... it's like...

Biased how?

The Bernie Bros need some place to post and they decided to do it on Reddit. Unfortunately, a lot of the AI out there is being trained on data from Reddit. It's also being trained on Wikipedia data which also has a left wing bias.

The founder of reddit was found dead by unknown explanation.
Want an explanation - Aaron Swartz was involved with WikiLeaks and being followed/investigated by the feds, therefore he was a target of the government for execution but this should not be a surprise as we all know that the US, Russian, Iranian, and Chinese governments execute whistle blowers if it involves said country. :citizensurprised:

No one is safe and never think that you are safe in a world that hates you. :citizentears:

Because reddit loves censorship

Karma. It's an echo chamber. If you say ANYTHING against the status quo, you get negative karma. Then you are basically shadow banned from posting on any sub reddit.

I only use it for the more niche aspects and stay away from the popular subs. Especially to keep up with the employee subs for the company I work for. I thrive off of everyone complaining about their job when it's also mine.

And weird

What I didn't like about the places I went on Reddit was how the moderators defended their friend before the facts.

Moderators are supposed to be neutral. They certainly don't act that way where I was there. Certain people got treated better than others.

I like Reddit for the information you can get there. What I didn't like is how certain people got treated if they weren't bending over for everyone else.
