Arcane TV show is WOKE

I just watched the first 10 minutes of arcane on netflix and this show is full-on. All the men are stupid . The first villainous character to confront the main group is a white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

I had heard it was really good, but I guess we just werent as queued into this stuff back then?

It would be fine if it wasn't to make fun of the guy trying to lockpick it-- or iif the "kick in door" trope hadn't been lampooned by hollywood in films and TV by having all the men that try hurt their foot.

Can't call a trope bad then reverse it.

I spend most of my time reading books. TV isnt very good to begin with -even before the culture war. it really didnt need propaganda on top. js

I was just actually surprised- googled it and didnt see many threads 3 years ago. I had only heard good things.

I couldn't even get through one episode because every single thing was a trope and they werent even being used well.

Was it just the art style that sold everyone?

I enjoyed it, it didn't blow me away or anything but I had a good time with it.


Probably helps that I used to casually play League years ago so I knew most of the characters, but for a video game adaptation it was one of the better ones.
