I've never seen it. I remember it being on the Sci-Fi channel when I was younger though. Seems popular.

Had real Earth 2 vibes from what I remember.

I watched alot of SG-1 as a kid and really liked it. I think it's a really nice blend of sci-fi and modern military. I do have to say, i found it really funny how they primarily just used SMG's all the time and rarely carried any rifles around. I think it's because the p-90 already looks like a weird space gun, and more-so at that time.

I started watching Atlantis because I didn't realize there were multiple shows of "stargate" so after the first season it started became apparent I was missing some context so I found sg-1 and started watching the first episode then I rechecked and found the movie lol. I don't really watch TV so I don't know how shows and seasons work but I think I'm finally watching in the right order. After sg-1 I'm going to check and see if there's anything in between that and Atlantis, and after Atlantis I know there's at least one or two other shows.

I like it a lot but sometimes it was a bit far-fetched with Daniel saving the situation in a totally absurd way.

It's a 10/10 show, Macgyver is in it.
Although he doesn't really do much Macgyver stuff for some reason.

OP you probably already know, yet Battlestar Galactica is excellent if you haven't watched it already.

I also recommend V if you don't know it, it's excellent.

yeah, I grew up with that whole "tv rots your brain" meme so I missed out on all the cool sci fi shows. I will watch Battlestar Galactica and Babylon 5 after I finish Stargate. I already started on Babylon 5 but so far there isn't much that appeals to the explorer and pioneer aspect that Stargate is full of. I know from old YouTube videos that it's full of awesome space battles so I'm going to hang in there for those. Also the two bickering alien diplomats are funny.
