Way too many clicker games

What is with steam and allowing copy/paste clicker games?
They are all sames games just with different photos to click on.

Valve doesn't want to be the arbiters of taste.

If you don't like a game, you can simply not buy it and/or not play it.

You can filter them out if you don't want to see them. Assuming of course you can still fit that tag along with all the other tags you're ignoring. I kind of doubt someone named "MemeMachine" cares very much about ignoring meme games and shovelware, though.

I think there are over 100,000 games here on Steam now. I recall just a few years ago it was 50,000. It's just getting bigger and bigger, regardless of it being a clicker game or not.

They seem like farming have to me such as Cats and Banana. The only other gameplay world be crafting but each to their own if people enjoy those types.

These games are allowed for the same reason other games are allowed. People not liking something isn't a reason to not sell/offer things.

People always are for curation as long as the stuff they don't like gets curated.
