Is firefox really better for privacy?
Is firefox really better for privacy?
The last time I uninstalled firefox, I got a virus detection error that made me uneasy.
I'm thinking of switching browsers to firefox because chrome has been acting weird lately.

It's better than Chrome
Firefox is hot.

i think youre trying to strike up a conversation about how vpns work but its old news and lots of info on youtube if theres anything you want to know or debate about. keywords :ups dows vpns

i am but a messenger
Because people call this service VPN, while the main functionality is a proxy server. If there's a way to become more private, it's by building your own infrastructure.
It's literally fire
Brave Browser is the best in my opinion, mainly because it blocks all ads including YouTube ads.

mullvad browser + mullvad vpn > tor
Just use TTB + A bridge like snowflake. No point in putting Tor behind a VPN
firefox is great. but it puts you on the slippery slope of becoming a furry. /j
On one hand Chrome and by extension Chromium has ties to the CIA via Google's parent company, Alphabet. On the other hand, Mozilla has the backing of Open Society and thus the Soros lineage.

And both are some manner of spyware. Pick your poison.

Can still turn off and block ipv6 easily, even at the router level.

And most VPNs block ipv6 natively.
Firefox or it's forks like LibreWolf are good imo. Regular Firefox you gotta turn off telemetry which is on by default afaik.
Use Mozilla Firefox DEVELOPER EDITION ::

https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/developer/

Faster, more performance, lesser stuff included . . . weekly updates on stable branch . . .

+ uBlock Origin by Raymond Hill
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

uBlock Origin for Edge is done by Nik Rolls

Alone Mozilla Firefox' "unique" Engine is already a huge step forward into privacy and security. No wonder so the Tor Browser is a Firefox Fork . . .

All other Browsers as mentioned before on page 4 run either on Webkit Engine for iOS or on Blink Engine for PC which sort of force ads on you and collect data hardcoded by default . . .

That is why Mozilla is in war against Alphabet and Meta. These concerns try to block Mozilla customers, yet without a success . . . gladly !! As these want to grind your intel and want to force ads . . .

Install Firefox on your smartphone, be forever ads-free on youtube . . .

Funny, the YouTube App forces ads too, OF COURSE !!

And yeah, this telemetry stuff on Firefox has been added like a year ago or less . . . just disable it in Firefox options . . . setup Cloudflare, enable stronger security features . . . etc

Firefox options are pretty clear and compact. Microsoft's Edge and its options is a whole OS compared xD a mess . . . !!
