I drink like one, rarely sometimes.
I drink a lot of soda though
Because whiskey is superior.
If I have beer it is usually to go with dinner (i.e the rare occasions that I have steak)
PS: Thumbs up to those who don't drink alcohol, back when I was a teenager, people would practically interrogate you as to why if you didn't drink, nice to see things have changed
I don't understand people that like to mix food with beer. I mean I like beer but imo it doesn't go well with food, I'd rather have a soda, orange juice or something.
I'll try someday
But in my personal life, when it's just me, I drink about 2. Or around a pint.
I tried quitting alcohol entirely for a year, and I wound up with severe physical problems as the alcohol was not draining from my body and had become integral to several muscular systems. These problems immediately started getting better after a single drink, and after 2 I would pee a completely clear liquid that I 'knew' was the alcohol leaving. It was as if all the pain and joint inflammation I felt was being peed out, painlessly.
I gradually worked my way down from 3 5.5% beers to, currently, 2 4.4% beers. I am currently hitting a wall where I need to drink a shot of whiskey every few days, as it's not possible for most bodytypes to leach out 40% residue using <6%, or in most cases 13%. Using 20% stresses my kidneys, and I need to water the embedded alcohol down with a 40% one day and then some 20% a few days later, while maintaining the 2 beer regimen. This essentially creates definement (as in refinement) stages, and has caused my urine to become clear at least once a day again without having to guzzle 160ABU every day.
Alcohol withdrawal is extremely complex and I cannot in good faith recommend it to anyone. There are so many better recreational drugs out there, so so many of which are easier to quit.
This is down from 14-20 beers, as I could not actually get drunk on them meaningfully, or about 8-12 oz of whiskey with roughly 3 shots floating at any given time.
