Relatar um problema com a tradução
It's propaganda, that's why. Pushing the narrative that women are ugly, and should be ugly. Don't buy the game's in question, choke 'em out.
No it isn't, there's a logic to it. For example, more symmetrical faces are universally liked better than non-symmetrical ones. Being overweight is a sign of unhealthiness and therefore it is naturally repulsive.
Er, I wouldn't say that. Actually I think that's just a matter of a certain type of extremist activist who dislikes the idea that a straight white man (aka, the enemy) might find a woman attractive.
It's like, the character herself isn't a problem, but men like her, so that makes her a problem, and the only way to fix it is to change her appearance so men won't find her attractive anymore, and anyone who disagrees is automatically a coomer, a PDF file, a chud, and a corn addict.
I didn't say that, I mentioned two examples of why it is not "totally subjective".
Lol
They won't succeed.
They want working class and middle class men to be attracted to ugly females while "THE RULING ELITES" have all the beautiful women, that's the true purpose of the propaganda
Furthermore, having a fit body is not "subjective"; body types are not "subjective" either. If you were living in the real world, you could tell the difference between an unhealthy and an athletic body type—someone can occasionally "look" average but be fairly strong; this does not, however, mean that your body's build is subjective. None of this requires some sort of esoteric knowledge to recognise any of this.
Gosh forbid that you believed any of these things that you had said, and not even twenty years ago, you would have sounded insane for undermining what is otherwise objectively observable. Also, I'm not going to 'not' acknowledge the hostility in you stating that anyone who disagrees with you must have a "specific problem"; I'm sure types like you love to pigeonhole others, but just recognise me as somebody who was willing to waste their time in pointing out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the wall. (Yes, I revoked your Reddit spacing from this exchange).
The only ones I can think of are, Ellie in Borderlands 2, Buttercup from Bleeding Edge and Fat Princess and looking for more I have found Auntie Poulet. Maybe Aloy has a pudgy face and a stout neck, but below the neck she looks quite toned. So maybe four and a half, if we're being generous?
Some of those characters are more comedicly stylized than realistic. Meanwhile, Auntie Poulet bears a striking resemblance to Miss Cleo[mashable.com].
Where's this great onset endemic of moribid obesity?
Moreover, the only character who really looks unkempt is modern Lara, but that vaguely makes sense. Where is a girl going to find a shower in the deserts of egypt or the Amazon after mucking about in those dusty old tombs and the muddy swampy jungle?
But I mean, Ada Wong isn't even chubby, much less fat nor is she unkempt. If anything she looks like some stylish bar hopper who got ready for night out on the town.
That kind of reminds me though. There was a bit of a controversy regarding the Dragon's Crown[www.forbes.com] character designs despite some of them having a shall we say, more buxom figure. Just goes to show that you can't please everybody. :-P
The point is to get them to realize something is wrong and it may be them that is the issue.
If you are bleeding money and you don't come to the conclusion that it may be your fault you can find out from your base why they are upset and try to change it. Any good business person knows they have to rely on the purchasing power of others to stay in business.
I don't care if the girl is fat or skinny as long as she fits the character profile for the game.
Now here's a truth some may not like. If the game calls for running, some type of exercise, or in the case of RPGs the ability to fight a long battle a heavy set woman isn't getting very far. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out which speaks volumes about the people who think heavy set women should be in those types of games.
The best way to let developers develop great games is to stay out of how they are making them ... especially those who are known for making excellent games to begin with. That usually begins with the characters. I'd stay away from developers who are just nodding their heads and sheepling along with this crap.
