There's no talking to you. You are a typical wokie who will only assert what you WANT things to be like, you don't care what they are actually like.
This has nothing at all to do with what I want, bud. I'm just talking straight facts here.
No company in gaming or otherwise is ever going to go back to the way it used to be. And I'm simply at peace with that, while you aren't. I'm moving on with my life and you aren't.
Of course, the way you see things is totally objective and true and has nothing to do with your political preferences at all. Everyone else is just wrong.
There is no truth in objectivity, objectivity just is.
I don't consult my feelings on issues like this. As a matter of fact, I don't consult my feelings at all in public discussion, because I know no one cares.
This is the fact: diversity was always inevitable, it is happening at an increasing pace now, and it will be reflected in arts and entertainment simply because those people you call "woke" are making the art. Period.
No amount of railing against it will change that. You may as well rail against the turning of the seasons. The only thing you can do at this point is move to North Korea or something where they've locked themselves away from any kind of social change.
Thanks for illustrating my point. Others will still be able to see it, no matter how blind you are to yourself. That's all I have to say to you, because conversing with someone like that is perfectly uninteresting.
so as long as media doesn't induce self hate and self harm, I think they have done their part.
You never established a point in this entire thread. Everything you posted was either some vague insinuation, passive aggression, or irrational, emotional gibberish.
Boys sort of role-play characters as they are. Spiderman is spiderman. Ninja Turtles are Ninja Turtles. The Hulk is The Hulk. They tend to pick characters they think are "cool" and play those characters as expected.
Girls will project themselves into characters, regardless of who that character was "meant" to be. So it's not uncommon to see Spiderman coming home from work at the business store to kiss his wife, She-Ra, and compliment her on taking care of their baby, purple teddy bear, so well.
Then they grow up and play video games. The boys don't need to see themselves in the characters they're playing as, and in fact probably prefer not to. The girls require the characters they're playing as to be someone they can reasonably identify with, or they can't enjoy it.
Of course that could all be utter BS, but it makes sense on the face of it.
That is totally subjective by the way...
Even "fit" under some circunstances is subjective...
So yeah, this is just you having a specific problem
