Hilarity ensued.
Also some other damage types can heal, like elements. It's mostly seen with fire which will heal certain fire enemies or golems which are made from metal. If for example you hit an enemy golem using a flaming sword, it will heal them for however much fire damage the sword is supposed to do, and damage them for however much slashing damage it does. You have to be careful with spells because of this. It's very easy for a caster to completely heal some enemies by using fire spells.
It's also possible to charm enemies to have them fight on your side for a time. During this time, they could be healed by positive energy.
Everquest used to, but I don't know how it is today. You could also buff them and give them weapons... which was abused with hilarious results early in EQ's history. (I used to arm all the Gnolls in Qeynos from time to time... Yes, that was me, but I'd also give them a bit of gold, too, in order to give the noob sufficient reward for overcoming armed gnolls. :))
(Add-The gnolls would also thank you (I assume) for giving them something, but spoken in "gnoll.")
WoW had some interactions there, but I think the removed it. I remember that it could flag you for PvP in applicable zones, so there was some issue with it. But, I could be misremembering. (I'm pretty sure I could buff them, though, at some point.)
Edit-Add: Just remembered - In EQ, you could heal hostile mobs at some point, but they then changed that because it was being abused. (Healing mobs while people were fighting them) I am unsure if it was allowed on PVP servers, though. Mobs would be healed outside of combat if they survived. (Mobs could also buff other mobs) Charmed mobs were treated like any non-grouped player character for the purposes of healing/buffing.
In WoW, buffing or healing a mob could flag you for PVP, IIRC. I don't think they could be healed while in combat at some point, but it could still flag you.
