Why does everyone want a goth girl

This is a legitimate question. I often see jokes about people wanting goth girls, but what's so exciting about them?

Not sure about everyone, but I unintentionally became a "goth" guy growing up before I even knew what a goth was.

Just did what I liked style-wise as a teen who was into heavy metal and goth girls I grew up around naturally gravitated to me, so I took a liking back to them. There's a certain sex appeal to how they dress, with things like fishnets and heavy makeup.

I'm not sure if they're still a thing anymore. Maybe some imitators, but the heyday was 20 years ago.

meh, there is a whole snooty pretentious in-crowd too. They're worse than hipsters.
Some are afraid they get cast out if they're seen talking with the normal dressed people too much. lol
Definitely aren't as interesting as they think they are.

I had a good chuckle thinking about a Hot Topic couple where one of them is ready to stop being a Goth while the other one lingers in Goth for a week or more.

Or if one of them wanted to change to a Brony.
