So, say.. Each ten minutes of staring into desktop, you'll try to focus on something far away (at least ten meters away from you) and pick up on the details for around.. One, maybe two minutes?
And something like this shall be repeated everyday, if possible.
The trick is wearing the correct glasses.
You want to change your eye focus time to time to further distance objects. Don't focus on close object for too long. Give time to relax.
And that spiel about watching computer screen for long time making your eyes focusing on close range is just bunch of baloney, after lifetime of computer use my long range vision is just fine.
