Valve is reponsible for what is being sold in their store.
Also before they fix their games they are currently allowed to sell even more cut content scams via another games.
Valve is reponsible to fix this by removing or contact developers to fix this broken games. But they won't because they get a cut from every sale and you here protect them by normalizing scams across the steam store.
Everything you've posted and continually bump this thread with is a functional game.
*Brass: Birmingham is 64% mixed, single player seems to work flawlessly with possible bugs in multiplayer, last noted update april 2023
*Unmatched is 75% positive. Last update 1 week ago. Your declared "cut content scam" has content being release 1-6 months later with them clearly being spanned out over time which clearly does not count as "cut content scam". There's also cosmetic-only releases which is more of a "support the dev" type of package, they do not influence the gameplay.
You seem to be going out of your way to declare random games as scams & bumping this thread frequently, but they're still being sold on the store as clearly they're not scams. You're not "exposing" anything about these games.
Cut content was, is and will be part of every game. Not everything that was dreamed by developer is viable, good idea or profitable in terms of time/money.
DLC based on additional campaigns/scenarios, created for board version of the game are not a "cut content".
None of the games you've mentioned are scams. Some of them are average, while others quite obviously didn't sell that well so support for them didn't extend far.
It's not going to end the way you want.
Cut content is with EVERY SINGLE GAME. All games go through a process of design documents, artwork, and these preliminary stages eventually get modelled into a prototype to present to higher ups (usually if a bigger company). After certain greenlights you then start the real work on the game which gets more fleshed out in furhter design documents. As things progress you will usually come up against time constraints and have to cut stuff. It's par for the course.
Sometimes it's not just down to time constraints either, but down to memory budgets and more.
And that's just in bigger professional situations. Obviously with smaller endeavours it changes somewhat but the point here is that ALL games have these issues so you can't use them as an excuse to critique as it shows you don't know how things work.
"Expansion" pack is a cut content scam.
Season pass is cut content scam.
You can not have more than 100% of the game. So calling it "extra" is false.
or "free update." Also false information. People had to pay for the game. Developer must fix broken game. Would you buy a broken car? Or any type of broken HW that would work exactly for warranty period and then soon aftewards would stop working because manufacturer decided so, because they run planned obsolescence scam*?
Like I said multiple times. Everybody should get the same game. If developer and publisher have a fiat money problem they should ask for optional donations without rewards. Their main focus should be developing, fixing games and not how to scam people.
For example I'd like to donate for some game that is actually free. But I can't because Valve haven't fix things order to developers to fix artificial cut content like they supposed to.
On the other website where game is also availble payment option is missing.
Also I would buy more on Steam if they didn't force me to use steam launcher that also artificially blocks people from using windows 7 despite many games work on windows 7.
*fortunalty in one case it an easy fix and device still works +10 years.
So everything is a scam then.
If you keep spamming the word scam for EVERYTHING you will be sanctioned by the United Nations.
Seriously, everyone here knows you are pranking us.
It's too obvious you're pranking us.
My dad died in 2005, and even right now he can tell you're pranking us. :P
Dead people aren't known for their intelligence.
Some are. e.g. 7 wonders duel.
