Islam. Many Islamic countries fact-wise still have child brides, slavery, terrorism, legal murder and oppression of women and gays, they often hate dogs, and they use their religion as the law.
Maybe even COMMUNISM would qualify as "religion" as they worship the horrific racists known as Karl Marx and Engels, while oppressing and killing people under their strict regimes, and have caused hundreds of millions of deaths of their own people during peacetime, let alone wartime. EVERY TIME IT IS "TRIED".
Those are the two most destructive forces.
They can hide behind almost anything (religions, governance societal/corporate etc..) but at the heart, of whatever they use as a front, at least one of those is the actual cause.
I was clearly going for a more pleasant metaphor for beheading as a form of punishment.
How many Christians and Jewish people do you see nowadays doing that in the name of religion? hmm?
i like you. friend request sent. youll be fun to talk to
I'm happy friends are created through my threads.
Other Off topic users need to do better. Shame on you.
At least we can come to the consensus that Islam, Catholicism, and Communism are all empirically-proven garbage ideologies.
We're making progress, people.
When someone calls out your belief system for being irrationally violent and boneheaded, and your only response is "Yeah, well, yours sucks too!!!" that kind of says it all.
3. Buddhism
2. Christianity
1. Atheistic countries like Russia
And so there you have it. Islam is the most peaceful religion in the world and within world history, and atheistic countries are the most dangerous with hundreds of millions dead.
Islam for the win?

In fact, most of them accept their religion as a myth which they loosely guess that "it may provide me some goodness when i die". They don't REALLY believe in their religious sayings nor Holy Books. This mentality has started back in 1800s and it reached peak years after 2000s.
Besides, how can an individual be religious if he/she doesn't even remember God even ONCE during a day? They mentally put the "Concept of GOD" inside Churches, Mosques and Temples and don't have a connection to God until someone asks him/her religion.
Logic says; If there is a God, this type of a living can NOT be what God demands.
In practice, especially in this time period, Materialism became the Numero Uno, DEFACTO religion of "modernized citizens".
A whole lot of claims...
Can you please supply us with a few links? Especially where you claim that most people just accept their religion as a myth, and how it started in the late 1800s, etc. TBH, it just sounds like a claim or claims that you pulled out of your butt.
1 communism killed the most and caused most suffering. (sheer number of killed)
2 hinduism caused the most suffering after that (caste system over millenia)
3 islam by far has perforned the most wars.. in its history (over 1600 vs only 5 crusades) is the most opressive also and most limiting to progress
4 facism - while its final state is less oppressive to the remaining people than an islamic state.. and it is much more friendly to science.. the route to get there is terrible.
5 neo-capitalism / neo-liberalism :
when people become numbers instead of fellow man you not want to screw over.. and the social contract gets trampled.. we see exploitation on such a scale it destroyes lifes, the real economy, and even the planet.
