environmentally friendly six pack ring Pepsi (save the Birds)
What do you think of the new cardboard ring's Pepsi is using for there 710 ml six packs of drinks?

Personally I never seen a seagull or any other bird getting choked by those plastic ring's

What happened to that break away plastic one someone invented this century

If you care about the future, you probably don't drink sodas.

This.

Less plastic garbage is objectively a good thing. Although there's still plastic in those drink containers.

i'd assume the dyes pose as much of a risk.

breakaway almost triples the cost of dye usually.

corporations are generally mono-obsessives, so when they identify dye as a cost they cut it as much as possible. even when it's stopped making sense.

Its look like that the PepsiCo look down in the archive and pull up the old design of the 1960´s cardbox and updated it a little to the modern standard.

The bottle is still plastic.

We should only use aluminium cans for soda and beer and avoid these small plastic bottles.

Maybe add a small aluminium lid there can be screw off.

Shipping sugar water is hardly environmental to begin with.

I'd be more worried about the bpa liner.

I've never seen a six pack ring irl. Here they are either one-by-one, or they are wrappen in plastic (so you end up with a torn plastic "bag", not rings

I say let's make 0.5l glass bottles

It was a manufactured hysteria, most of the plastic in the ocean turned out to come from places like India not the places where the WEF politicians pushed their agenda.
