Brits, do you still feel European?
Do you still identify with the European continent and culture or do you identify closer to US culture?

I'm Dutch, we have Shell, Philips and ASML. We pull land out of the ocean worldwide, lift subs from the bottom larger then appartment buildings. And we move on land these same size buildings worldwide from point A to B. So who you want to improve.

This following clip also counts for the UK, once upon a time. But nolonger.

To clarify UK leaving the EU was a mistake but not a bad in one in theory, they just were probably the worst candidates for this move, mostly because they still had their own currency somehow among other things, i fully blame them for letting it happen, just like i fully blame whoever was in power in France for forcing us to go in EU to begin with because most peoples were against the idea then. Frexit will happen but not yet.

The best of it all, is still the reason they used for a Brexit. To stop the stream of foreign refugees.
They forgot about Gibraltar. They are now, flying them in. Spain, and France are greatfull, also the personal crew of the Tunnel.

I fully blame them for NOT DOING ANYTHING during the two years of the brexit annoncment. Cringe from second hand embarassment of NOT ONE political or TV dude in the WHOLE country able to "at least" set a course or take measures to ... i dunno, exit the EU and not being left like ducks in the rain hereafter and forevermore - that cringe was aching. The economy as a whole halted in a grinding sound when ALL of the outside contracts had to be remade on the spot the day the brexit took effectively place.
Add to that all the kerfuffle about the expulsions of even native britishes due to strange laws pulled out of the blue. All that and so much more make me justified as a french to dunk on the bri'ishes - forevemore.

Lol whut, Victorian-Era systemic abuse and Orwellian pressure - as for the TV-tax sniffer-vans - are not something to strive for. Stay on your island corner of britishes without bothering Irishes and scottishes and wallow in the the bogpit you call dare to call culture. /high french sneer
:P

Edit : while i'm at it, i've heard that the british state actively discourages people to get any form of electronic or radio know-how, in fear of having home terrorists and so on, does that lie holds any forms of truths ?
Because if YES, then i'll die of leughter. Please strongly infirm that riduculour rumor :D

Europe is not efficient or productive.
The majority of the world is not in Europe, and the majority of the world is doing better economically than Europe.

And since leaving Europe, the UK has seen nothing but incompetence from Europe.

As for feeling European, cannot say I ever did.
Most here don’t even feel British anymore.

I wish my friends from across the pond luck. Hopefully the Lib Dems can prevent the corporatists neo cons from getting an outright majority.

I think the Brits never felt European and always more closely associated with Americans.

As Brit who has toured the US, I really like Americans. They would always welcome you and show genuine interest and friendliness. Yes, there are differences between the Brits and Americans, but there are even more similarities. Britain is like Americas shy little brother.

All the founding fathers and early colonists saw themselves as British. It was taxation without representation & the unreasonable position of King George (perhaps exacerbated by his mental illness) that eventually led the Americans to declare themselves an independent nation.

I agree, that Anglo is projecting REAL HARD. See above the "founding fathers were britishes in spirit". Smh.

Fact is, Englishes were a LOT more hated than the frenches in history, even in the colonial history. Coming from a french, that's saying something. Kisses, seethe and cope, i like imagining you foaming from the mouth while frothing from sheer rage and indignation : the best state of body and mind for a brit'.

Lol nobody is getting upset by a frog, France hasn't been relevant in Europe since they got smashed by the Prussians they have been playing second fiddle ever since.

Bro is living in the deep past, what about colonies? What about the fact we had the most wars of any countries and incidentally the most victories?

Shhhh, dont talk about that like that. The best is to let them think that the frenches are all cowards anyway, the pikachu surprised face is priceless when they discover the real deal, live, face to face :) ... well, "Odieux Connard" is a nifty content creator, i'm gonna limit meself to that.
