Wait a minute...

Something seems "off" in the trailer that I can't quite place my finger on...

Anyway...

Looks good. I'm a sucker for Japanese sengoku era games.
A kunoichi named like a warlord is a bit nagging though.

Hope they will give option to change to Japanese voice.

I'm looking forward to this one so it's an immediate buy.
I'm glad they finally came to Asia (with exception to the Chronicles in China).

Hard to be excited when its just CG.

if it was TV series or a movie it'd be fine.

The level of incompetence that it has taken two decades to make one game.

I like how they call it "Shadows"...

Almost as if there is some deeper, double meaning.

Hummm... :marten_sip:

i'd like to buy it but its probably not going to come to steam straight away also yasuke (black samurai) is a real historical figure

He was, however, not a samurai.

With all the games already existing regarding ancient japan as a backdrop, ubisoft really has their work cut out to produce something that will interest players. I reckon also the whole AC through time thing is dead in the mind of gamers.

Good thing creative liberty exists.

Since Ubisoft CEO want's to make people "rent everything" aka suscription model 2.0, wouldn't be surprised if they tried to make it a 70 U$D per month to even be able to play the game, that's before all the other MTX's / micro transactions and other anti-consumers tactics they might do.

Also no gameplay trailer, just another CGI trailer :steammocking:

Hope it turns out good, I'll be keeping an eye out for it

The Samurai narrative is overdone, while modern Shinobi games like Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden are scarce.

At this point, The Elder Scrolls is going be more of a stealth franchise than Assassin's Creed.

I don't care. Ass Creed has always been a franchise with mediocre gameplay and tons of filler.
