When Is The Last Time You Used A Rotary Phone?

For those who do not know what I am talking about, just look at images. My grandma had one when I was a kid. That was the last time I used one. I saw some people have them, even in businesses over the course of the following ten years from when I was 9 maybe. Today, though? I can't remember if I saw one recently. I feel like it would have stuck out.

Probably sometime in the very early 90's if I recall. We had one until then at least, then it was push button phones. We maintained a landline for as long as possible, but a decade and a half ago or so, the home we moved into didn't have the infrastructure for it anymore, so we started getting combined internet and phone.

I continued to use push button phones and resist the annoying tactile-feedback-devoid slip-slidey touch screens for as long as I could, but in the end, the functionality and convenience of a smart phone finally broke my will three years ago or so, and now I'm in the modern era with everyone else. The awful, tiny, feels like I'm going to drop it every time I use it, not shaped right for human ears, modern era. *Sighs in the depths of his soul.*

It has been many years since I last used a rotary phone. I still own a touch tone phone for the simple fact that if there is a power outage, I can still make calls on a land line whereas without power, it is most difficult to charge a cell phone, and I am not wasting gas to run my truck to charge it.
