And sometimes more complex animals like great apes act outside of expected gender roles, but that's about it for the T. It's not like you can ask them how male or female or not or both or other they feel.
Also, intersex, yes. Some animals in weird and unusual ways. My favourite though is always mallards who can't stay intersex long and just slowly revert back to male as though a male mallard is just the default character. It's nice and boring.
Mallards are also gay sometimes but it tends to be in conjunction with necrophilia, as though mallards weren't problematic enough to begin with what with their reproductive strategy being to... ahem, pursue and assault.
It's a beautiful world out there.
As a ferret, I have to agree.
it worked cause one was a femboy that got marked as female uwu

It looked freakish the one i saw in person. The veins just pumped out of it, it probably wondered why we were staring at it.
You are right I wouldnt go near it in the field there was a fence between me and it.
T absolutely.
Life, uh, finds a way. Part of the premise of Jurassic Park included the real fact that some animals can change sex when needed.
I didn't know it was a conscious decision on their part. I just thought they were born that way, but had to suppress their true feelings for fear of ridicule. So now that they're bulked up, they can no longer hide it.
Maybe I should study some more on this subject. Maybe go out in the field and take notes. Maybe take a tent and a few supplies for a week long stay.
Apes, Rabbits, Dogs, even Dolphins, in general every mammal can be !!
As mentioned already, gay Lions for example too . . .
I had read an article about birds too, some time ago.
Fish? There LITERALLY exist fish who can switch their gender and genitals, to become male or female whenever their population and a gender exceeds a number . . . !!
About insects, I am currently not sure . . . but maybe some kind can as well.
Snails? Yes!
Reptiles? Not sure . . .
Spiders? Probably not . . .
