While it's true the corporations are the ones really inflicting this on us, the Boomers are the generation that caused and presided over the largest corporate power grab in human history. They and their lack of interest in freedom, change, equality, and fairness put us here.

you had it backwards - and those are now the elites, not boomers in general (despite what your "educators" have told you).
The elites have been offshoring for decades while skipping taxes and those same corporate owners now want the entire US tax funds as their personal piggy bank, including pension and 401k savings of the boomer generation.
That is why we call it the "industrial-military-corporate-healthcare complex" through the corruption of capitalism I have previously described.

It has nothing to do with boomers. It has everything to do with other countries catching up with the United States and Europe by stealing/copying our technology, and taking manufacturing and other jobs to places where labor is cheaper.

The world has been sending students to U.S. and European universities in large numbers for years, and these students have been taking what they have learned back home with them. U.S. and European universities are big business, which is one of the reasons they are taking so many foreign students. It's no longer about spreading the message of freedom and democracy, it's all about the bottom line.

Yes, we want to educate the world to prevent poverty which can lead to socialism, communism and authoritarianism, but now we have to learn how to compete with those who we have educated. You solve one problem and you create another.

The United States and Europe used to be cutting edge, but are now competing with the rest of the world because of our open door policies and inadequate security measures. The United States and Europe spend a great deal of money on research and development only to have it stolen via internet hackers, foreign students and spies dressed as Hollywood actors. Who in our government is keeping an eye on these people?
