In the state of Ohio you do NOT get tax credit on positive equity on trading in your car when purchasing a used car ONLY when purchasing a new car (that is BS I already paid tax on this once why do I have to pay again!)

Theres a hefty registration fee for EVs because the government doesn’t like the fact you are not paying gas tax.

You're 100% right. Take it from me, our government in Croatia is too stupid to be even remoteley convincing at inventing the most random fake topics imaginable precisely when a big corruption scandal happens, so yeah, it's definitely a thing. Don't forget all the stupid and pointless wars.

I think it was more based on import tax rather than the colonist paying the tax I’m shocked someone actually knew the difference.

Even the import tax was a kinda small part of it...

More focus was laid on import policy and the beneficiaries of profit channels, as well as the persistent bickering about whose Parliament was "real."
