Lego as an adult
Dear Steam Community,
What do you think about buying and building Lego Sets as an adult?
Im personally a fan of Lego Star Wars.
Some adults buy Lego and sell it more expensive later.
Some people think its childish.
If you are into Lego, tell me whether you build it or whether you want to sell it later…
If I buy Lego then I open and build it. I know the value decreases if you open it, but I think it takes to much space in the original package.
I dont think its childish in both cases..
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you in advance!

What does that have to do with anything? Also, more expensive.

It has everything to do with it. Kids love Legos.

You can't put a price on playing Legos with your children.

I actually just started when I made a Valentine's Day roses for my wife. However it was tedious and as I had a deadline, not as fun to begin with due to pressures. So then I tried a few smaller sets with my daughter for fun. I actually enjoyed it a lot more and will tackle bigger ones soon. I got a Hello Kitty music box that spins coming up next.

Here's a quick peek at ones I've done with my daughter:

I am a fan of Lego Technic. I suddenly went and bought on a whim, 2 years ago, Lamborghini Sian and it was a rocking experience.

I am pretty much certain, that many Lego pieces, are Adult-only, from the viewpoint that non-adults would be extremely difficult, if not next to impossible, to build them.

Lego is only more cheap plastic crap from China. Don't want it, don't need it. I don't like having junk around me.

Overpriced toys imo, but if that's what makes you happy go for it.
You can only live once

Lego peaked in the 90s with Space Police, Ice Planet, Spyrius, Aquanauts and Rock Raiders. And Technic, of course.

Now it's nothing but licences sets. No originality.
ninjago and lego city still ongoing

but yeah past mars mission and G1 bionicle they pretty much stagnated sadly

they are now with rising prices sadly

just build them virtually online. They got software and sites for that.

I love the Technic Lego sets as well. I have the Bucket Wheel Excavator[www.guinnessworldrecords.com] as well as some Star Wars sets such as the X-Wing and TIE Fighter. I have a Millennium Falcon though it is not the really big set.

You're smart,
Real wife = debt, sadness, and depreciates rapidly.
Lego wife = happiness, beautiful, and appreciates over time.

More men need to be like you.
