Of course. I haven't used an mp3 since 2009. Been using flac and ripped all my cd's to the best quality flac. Each of my flac files are over 150 mb. Who even uses mp3's with their compressed tinny sound.
i would do the same but i am also terminally lazy so
Only took me a few weeks to do a little over 600 cd's. And yes the RIAA allows you to make a backup of your cd's. But only one copy.
so yeah , youtube is pushing peoples in using ad blocker ... then thinking they will pay youtube with subscriptions to remove the ads.
Why do you have such huge flac files? :O
Each of my flac's weights around 30-40MB and even despite some being ~5minutes long still barely hit over 40MB
Cause i want perfect quality. Yea flac is lossless and only uses a tiny amount of compression but i want higher quality. Yes i know the quality is only going to be as good as the source. Crappy source crappy copy. But i like to rip my cds at a sample rate of 192 khz at 24 bits, which equals around 35,000 kbps bit rate.
Try a blind test on a good stereo or audio setup with a properly encoded 320kbps Mp3 version of a song and a Flac version. You WILL NOT reliably be able to tell the difference.
Yes, FLAC has the complete audio source, and from a strictly technical perspective, is qualitatively superior to even a 320Kbps MP3. However, anyone claiming to be able to consistently tell the difference between the two correctly in a true blind test is just lying. A properly encoded 256Kbps MP3 or AAC is virtually indistinguishable from its FLAC counterpart in a “better vs. worse” sense even with very good audio equipment. People talk about hearing cymbals and “dense” music more authentically through FLAC because just they’re looking for a justification for their beliefs.
I used to be an audio snob, and much like people that think some $1000 wine is better than a cheap bottle, when you aerated them both, they are essentially indistinguishable from one another in blind tests.
Flac is great for one thing, archiving. When it comes to fitting as many songs into limited space for things like cars and cellphones and USB keys and such, MP3 is still king, especially with modern decent stereos and equipment.
Better equipment, better sound.
Lmao imagine using that over ublock origin
You dont even need the apps for that
And on Linux you can do It with the terminal only
Adblocker is a generic term that includes any and all adblockers.
Ublock origin is still called an adblocker.
Don't be a dingus.
