russel brand is interesting to watch on rumble sometimes, but he gets repetitive if you watch too many vids

Both are open-source, and I know that Invidious cuts out a lot of Google's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from YouTube and keeps it bare bones and non-invasive.

There's LBRY (Odysee) which I use for channels that upload on both YouTube and there, and PeerTube that's very fragmented, which I use to upload short unlisted clips.

Invidious isn't a platform, it's a mirror for YouTube. Still, it's a very useful project, and aside from better anonymity, allows YouTube to be viewed inside niche browsers like Pale Moon.

I use NewPipe on my phone, but on everything else, connecting directly to YT though hardened Firefox or Librewolf (with google and YT blocked from setting cookies) is fine.

I WANT the bastards to know they won't be forcing any ads or recommendations on me.

I just love how removing the Google crap, NewPipe can be faster than the Premium Google app, literally called YouTube Premium. And its totally libre!
