Many of those "loli" and "shota" style games were produced by devs in China. Their government doesn't regulate age-related content at all, and their culture has an absolute thirst for young anime girls. They don't care much for ancient undead ghouls, however.

As for "upright talking animals using their animal genitalia on each other"... well, humans are mammals and mammals are animals. But it's easy to mistake "Showering with Dad Simulator" for a furry game, men do grow quite hairy as they age.
You've only seen the straight-genre games. Check out the LGBT-genre games, it's like an endless buffet of the Marquis de Sade's greatest hits.
I'd rather keep the NSFW filter on, there's a lot of non-gamers with mental illnesses currently walking along real-world city sidewalks and punching random women in the face. Nobody gets hurt if I do that in a video game.
Are you kidding me?? I saw one Game all about Pedophilia,
Yes, a Video Game about Children...
Just imagine if Texas wins a Law in America, &
Children are no longer able to be Online or use Social Networks
anymore??
We would technically get our Internet back,
& we can do whatever we want with it, o_@
Which means all this bullcrap being sold??
We can have it all disappear, ~_~
People are both wild and very creative nowadays.
It's not the content that shocked me, it's that I always assumed Steam was a 'family friendly' place for teens and kids to buy games with their parents credit cards. I would never have thought Steam would have that type of content available. Kinda like if Blockbuster had porno tapes hidden in the back corner somewhere. Like of course not? lol.
Ah, I think I see your problem.
You see, we here in the west have this thing called "Freedom".
It allows people to make whatever kind of game they want. It also allows companies like Valve to decide what is allowed and not allowed on their online storefront here on Steam.
Freedom also allows us, the consumer and gamer, to decide for ourselves what games we want to buy and play, without a government authority deciding that for us.
Do you understand now?
