Sleep Paralysis Hat Man

Anybody ever see this dude? I saw him a few years ago standing in the corner of my room whilst I was lying in bed and then he just disappeared...bros wtf.

Not the hat man, but:

Just this morning I was awakened by a large floating hairball slowly approaching my bed.
Aggravated by this early intrusion, I snarled and stated "I'll knock you into next week!"

Hairball quickly evaporated.🙃

I've had Sleep Paralysis in the past but luckily I was knowledgeable at the time and didn't get frightened by it. I actually forced myself up.

But my theory to Hatman links to eyelids as they close from the top giving the dark view of the hat brim.

He also reminds me of the character in Little Nightmares 2.

Most people who seem him seem to consider him an evil entity. Not sure who it is. The character Freddy Krueger was based on the hat man. "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is loosely based on sleep paralysis experiences.

It's interesting that he keeps appearing in so many different experiences though.

The mechanical elves also appear in many different "breakthrough" experiences when people do LSD or shrooms.

The hat man isn't the only character that appears in sleep paralysis. There are also recurring stories about an evil witch who will sit on your chest and make it so you struggle to breathe.
