This feels like a bit of a mixed message. You start with the carefully qualified limiter of "some" but then go on to make a generalization that doesn't seem limited by that limiter.

Personally, I find plenty of worthwhile content on YouTube with people who make smart thought-out critiques about subjects. Whenever I do step in a pile of stupid, I use that nice new feature they added recently to tell the bots that I don't want that video to be recommended to me ever again, or sometimes even that particular channel. This has a ripple effect on similar channels being recommended or not recommended to you.

The most recent channel that I told it to stop recommending was talks by a woman who seemed rather misandrist and was making generalizations about groups of people without proper research. She had 1 informative video and even that one was cringe to watch because of the amount of unfounded hate in it.

It really depends on where you live as well. In the U.S. it's a lot worse because it's a capitalist society and the middle class is shrinking.

If you think it's 'easy" for women on dating apps because they have more options than men, think of what it's like to go down the cereal aisle of the largest grocery store you can think of. Have you ever tried finding exactly what you're looking for amongst that level of choices? Because it's not easy.
