Do you consider lab grown meat vegan?

I'd like to hear your opinion on it, whether you are vegan, non-vegan, pro vegan, anti vegan etc. All input counts.

I'll start:
In my opinion lab grown meat is in fact vegan. While yes, it's undeniable that it's meat, it was made without harming animals, which is one of things veganism goes for.

just like that natural flavor called senomyx i think was called, made by taking a human baby cell in 1970s and altering it is really gross and evil too to put that in food.

If Finns (pretty sure it was finns) eat rotting maggot infested cheese and consider it delicacy a tumor would not be that bad

You can't be guaranteed that it won't kill you during our lifetime. These tests take time. Remember when the Americans were selling radioactive uranium based products as being good and healthy during the '50s?

i had a glossy yellow coffee cup shard found in the yard, it was radioactive lol and i put beans on it and grew them 3 weeks later they were weak plants. heh
