I honestly can understand the "git gud" argument sometimes, not with this specific example you bring (becuase I do not know what game is that) but I am speaking in general...
Ppl usually like to blame to rest but never themselves and sometimes ppl cannot even make their minds first...
Sometimes ppl need some autocrítica... 🤷♀️
If they use this word on someone who criticize the game in other aspect, I just assume that they're toxic fanbase and skip their comment.
