Why the "git gud" argument makes no sense.
As someone who has beaten all Dark Souls games, Sekiro, Lies of P, and more games that people consider hard, i have to bring up this old and tired argument of git gud. While i agree games take time to learn, and overtime learn how the game works, that doesnt mean the game is good. You can git gud at any game ever, even the worst games ever made, but that doesnt make the game good. Saying "gid gud" when someone criticizes a game, just makes you look unintelligent, and not even a real gamer, but a wanna be hardcore gamer. Most people who even say this, aren't good at the game to begin with. I can "git gud" at Suicides Squads new game, but that doesnt stop it from being the worst release this year so far.

Surely "git gud" is the answer to "the game is too hard", not "I don't like the game" or "this game isn't good" so your complaint makes no real sense.

not really... it's also a reply to the later.

like sometimes I just don't want to sweat so much... and it's more like I just don't want to sweat so much.

People complaining that a hard game is hard
But i am talking about when people say a game isnt good, and dont even mention difficulty, but others bad parts, and people still say "git gud". lol

Possibly people just didn't read the whole post and assume it was about skills, like me rn
yeah i realized it was a goofy argument when i criticized call of duty #6 for being the same thing as call of duty #4, my friends would just say "you don't like it because you suck at it" ... then guess what, call of duty #8 was literally just call of duty #6, copypasted
or when I said battlefield #4 was the same as battlefield #3 "you just don't like it because you're bad at it" so silly

I honestly can understand the "git gud" argument sometimes, not with this specific example you bring (becuase I do not know what game is that) but I am speaking in general...

Ppl usually like to blame to rest but never themselves and sometimes ppl cannot even make their minds first...

Sometimes ppl need some autocrítica... 🤷‍♀️

Sounds like a skill issue honestly

It's not suppose to make any sense, most of the time people will say this when someone rant about the difficulty and demand easy mode. In a game that already clearly state that it is a hard game.

If they use this word on someone who criticize the game in other aspect, I just assume that they're toxic fanbase and skip their comment.
I don't think it has ever meant to say if a game is good or not. It's always just to criticize someone's skill level at a game.
seems to be more to defend bad game design and whales TBH...

gut gud means improve yourself rather than blaming the game for your own mistakes

If the game alr provides enough information on how to approach an enemy and you still dont knw how to capitalize it, then it's simply a skill issue and ppl have the right to call you out.

Tldr, git gud
This whole thread needs to Git Gud.
the git gud fits this thread perfectly.
Argument? That's not even an argument.
can someone recommend a good place to download mor gud?
