Sady, there is not way to mute the music in the game.
Thanks Totoro! Probably the only solution i suppose. It just boggles my mind how there is no sound option(s).
From my search, many say the same thing.
It is said that, if you use the headset on the tablet, that it will help to hear the voices a bit better, if that is why you want to music turned off.
Movies and games seem to be horrible when it comes to characters speaking along with the music and sound effects. The musing and sound effectes are always too high.
The music is pretty bad in my honest opinion. I don't see how play-testers didn't suggest an option for it to be turned off. It's so highly repetitive and annoying that it hinders my game progress; trying to get a Skell all while exploring and doing missions/quests, my ears can't handle it. I'm sure there's other people out there with the same problem.
I'll try contacting Nintendo and inquire about it. Maybe there's a patch in the works? Also, if they have any plans to release the game or "remastered" version on PC/Steam.
