Can Anyone Suggest Some Decent Kids Games on Steam?
I'm looking to pick up some games for children in the 4 - 6 year old range. So far I have a few racing games that fit the bill as well as a somewhat rare copy of Skylanders on the PC but I don't really know what's available on Steam aimed at little kids and I could use some suggestions. Thanks.

EDIT: I'm not exactly sure why people think it's funny to suggest ultra violent or sex games to someone who's asking for suggestions for a 4-6 year old. Can't you just go to Reddit? Anyway I'm unsubscribing. I've also reported a few of these comments because: really? soft-core anime porn? For a 4 year old? That's less funny than you think and borderlines on sex abuse.

Teddy Floppy Ears series
Nice little adventure games - not only for kids. :) And pretty much unbeatable for the current price.

Pretty much all of their games
Geez, and I thought there were too many Tomb Raider games.
I don't know of many games that cater for that age-group. If you were to ask for games for 7-12, I would say things like Five Nights at Freddy's or even Super 3-D Noah's Ark (You could try the latter, I remember playing Wolfenstein when I was little and being semi-successful at minimum difficulty. Though, there is Bible Trivia in that game, and I don't know if there is a way to turn it off).

To the best of my knowledge, you're better off sticking with really old games like the stuff from Humongous Entertainment (Already linked) and the Bookworm series.

Unfortunately games aimed at children are generally poorly received on Steam, so you won't find many.

I hear Hatred is family oriented and great for developing minds.

Thanks everyone. These were great suggestions. Mostly.

From watching my friends kids play, they tend to dislike games made specificly for kids. Those games seem to under estimate kids inteligence/ability and over simplify.

If they like Legos, city builders might be good.

Also, Lego video games are pretty kid friendly without being "dumbed down".

Eh... You should see what they did to Jurrasic Park...

But games on the Wii might be more kid friendly then on Steam. You might want to check that out.

Not really. Most of what I remember playing as a kid was mario, mechwarrior and close combat.

That's true.

If they're very young then consider getting a nintendo console. Most of the games there are very innocent and easy to get into. Family-oriented, if you will.
Childrens games, Pinkamenda links a religious title. Ah brainwashing at a young age.

But get the kid CoD. Be realistic, 2016, kids swear and drink mountain dew. Smartphones spend more time with the children than the actual parents. CS:Go is a fine title.
