If they are able and willing to ship to your state, you can trust that it is legal to do so. If they refuse, chances are it's because it is illegal to do so. they stand to lose a lot of money in fines and legal fees if they illegally ship something. This is why they have several high priced lawyers to identify what is and is not legal to ship to where before they list it as something they can ship to your state.
Are you saying you intend to have it shipped elsewhere and then hand carried into the state, or are you trying to have them ship it to Washington themselves?
Because if you're doing the latter your question won't even come up. they would have already done the research and will outright refuse to sell it to you if they are unable to legally deliver it to you. If you're doing the former then you're bypassing basically everything I talked about in my last post.
But I don't think you're listening to me. Amazon is a major company with enough high priced lawyers to know how the law works in your area. They know what is legal to ship to you. They actually stand to lose a lot of money if they try to illegally ship something to you. They're not even going to allow you to buy something if they can't legally deliver it.
There are different weapon laws for different states, and it wouldn't hurt to learn the ones for yours. Amazon already knows them, and simpley won't ship items to states where they're illegal.
Yeah, you and Teksura are kind of missing the point - I'm guessing that you haven't viewed the page itself. That knife isn't shipped by Amazon, it's coming direct from the specialist store that made the listing in the first place. Still should mean that you shouldn't be able to buy anything illegal through Amazon, right? Not quite... how about illegal toy guns:

So that brings us back to knowing local laws. If it's legal to possess that knife in that state then it is probably (but not definitely) legal to import it. Check up on local laws and see what you can find out.
This whole thread has me picturing driving across the border into WA and rolling into a border checkpoint patrolled by guys with waxed beards, wearing skinny pants and scarves, carrying antique rifles from manufacturers so obscure only the most diehard collectors can identify them, and being asked for ID by a girl whose iPod is loaded with music by bands I've never heard of.
MAKE SURE ITS A STATRAK!

have a read of WR 1999, I can see under Prohibited and Controlled:
Ballistic Knife
Butterfly Knife
Disguised Knife or Sword
Flick Knife or Switchblade
Knuckle Knife
Dagger (exceeding 8cm)
Double End Knife
Sword
Throwing Knife

So 5.5 inch = 13.97 cm most likely it'll get stopped at customs due to its size.
Jail time for a silly Video game themed knife... You clearly have YOUR head screwed on straight. You totally need more hand crafted murder implements...
