New Racing Game

Anybody else want a racing game with the customization of Midnight Club Los Angeles but have the feel of a true simulator like ATS or ETS? I think it would be badass if SCS Software stepped out of their comfort zone and did a racing game, but with ALL Kinds of different cars like the old American Muscle and the new Ricers. Imagine Driving a 1970 Charger down the streets of LA, with rustic sounds of an American Muscle V8 and out of nowhere an acutal person on another PC challenges you.

It wouldn't be realistic at all... One does not just "drive" down the streets of LA... It is more of a "sitting in traffic for all eternity" type thing.

Midnitght Club LA had cheating rubber band coin-op arcade AI. I'd want it more like Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition.

Though the biggest problem with getting actual name brand cars is the marketing and advertising money and lawyers and all that crap. Microsoft owns Ferrarri, EA owns Porsche, so you already have two rather major car companies that will not show up in an indie budget game.

Also it sounds like there are already a few games like you mention like "The Crew" and "Need For Speed"... Just not with the customization options that Midnight club had.

I remember Midnight Club 3 so much when I was a kid, it was a pretty badass game too.
