Why is anything at all frowned upon? Why hasn't human consciousness developed mechanisms to view literally everything as positive?

It's actually not a hard question to answer.

cannibalism is legal in most places on earth, killing people isnt.. u can legally eat body parts of a person aslong as the person is still alive

So that scene in Hannibal where he makes stir fry out of that dude's brain and feeds the guy some of his own brain is... Legal.

Mad cow disease was because cows were made to eat other cows. Its probably unhealthy to eat your own species.

For humans the disease is called Kuru. They also get sick from it. Its a fatal disease. You can just look it up. Its very sad.

Mostly because it's considered gross. Which, in a way is amusing, because eating dead carcasses of other species is generally not seen that way.

I believe the religious would consider it desecration. And the consumption of human flesh evil.

Medically it's simply not recommended, because illnesses transfer easier from same species, so cannibalism is prone to spreading disease.

i'm guessing it's the fact that normalizing it would greatly risk farming people, or killing people to sell their meat

As a species, you don't eat your own unless you have nothing to eat or brings great nutrient benefit. To kill and/or to consume your own species is circumstance of, and to damnation.

As humans, we don't need to rely on cannibalism, as we have enough other food resources. And to advance as a species, it is better that we don't consume ourselves.

For a shower thought, and to bring it upon a thread, questions your intelligence. There's a lot of other great enlightenment you could've achieved in shower.
