I still feel betrayed by the review of PaRapper the rapper and just discovered they re-released it on the PS4!
perhaps it requires certain level of addiction to feel what reviews are wriing or its simply a testers template they give most reviewers or smth. i mostly just sort games in some chart and pick the top one, i have no clue what might be actual criteria of finding anything decent that is fun.
Im sorry Easy Pete but i didnt enjoyed New Vegas
its fun to look around, there is like tons of things just lying around the wastes like empty bottles, almost like real life, and there is tons of broken down factories and buildings, also all npcs are fun characters, but game itself is kinda not fun, like old museum of arts its only fun as an "art" exibit of old stuff.
The people who tend to virluently focus on something they like tend to be people who REALLY dislike change. They tend to be extremely rigid.
And so, when Fallout 3 was announced, out came the hate. Because they couldn't grasp that a game who's devs were no more, and the licence was sold on to someone else, would have a different vision for it.
Let them do them as you need to remember this simple fact:
CLAIMS ALWAYS STAND ON THEIR OWN MERITS.
This means that they can complain all they want. Unless their claims have validity, then it's pure bollocks and should be ignored.
For myself, I love all of them FOR being different. It would be ♥♥♥♥ and stale if they stayed the same. It wouldn't have worked.
Cool, you do you.
But again claims stand on their own merits. So where's your empirical evidence as to why you shouldn't instead of just assertng "no u".
I love Fallout 3. I love 1 and 2 and Tactics as well. I love the fact they reamin different, because more of the same would have been dated.
Taking away gameplay for for graphics is not an improvement.
Play Fallout 1 and 2 with 1 point in intelligence. Go ahead. Dare you.
Now do the same with a Bethesda game.
-pimp your wife
-Set the timer on dynamite and then let the kids pickpocket you. Metric tons of fun.
-Make a stag film
-Be a drug dealer
List goes on. Just the wild ♥♥♥♥ you could do in the original Fallout games makes the Bethesda games seem like Mario64. It's a sad decline.
i think turn based nature of originals is missing, like combat aint fun at all to do real time.
Building took a hit as a result. There's now one monobuld with a few different weapon choices and the (false) choice between combat breakers and settlement skills.
more like they know, they just don't care. they want the franchise, not the fans.
they could have called it Butts Out, or Atomic Buttholes or w/e, and done the same game.
They want the name recognition of Fallout slapped on these unrelated games.
It does.
Because it's entirely subjective. That's the point - I gave a clear reason why as I felt it would have been dated. That's valid.
Whetgher you like it or not, because it's subjective.
I like it and nothing you can say will change that. That's the point it's how subjectivity works.
