but a
"Be changed in your heart, thoughts and being though the Spirit, so you truelly CAN obey Gods law"

Addictive substances are best avoided alltogether.
thats generally much easier to do that to keep flirting with it.

also : you look at it the wrong way.

you don't state what you don't want.
you state what you do want.

I want to not dissapoint God
I love God
I also want to feel holyness

-> it is like any resistance, like eating unhealthy or alcohol..
you KNOW how bad you will feel later if you do those chooices.
and you know that that is NOT worth any short term pleasure now.


On top of that eventually you won't even see it as pleasure at all.
Generally porn is used as expression of lust.
Lust is generally unforfilling.
Man desire love, not lust much more
And acting on lust hinders your ability to find love.

There is often a psychological component.. man in our world are often rejected.
We desire to be loving husbands but society makes that near impossible (never before so maany singles, while the media messed up womans demands on man... to something few can meet in todays economy)
-> facing all this rejecton, port fakes a million incredible good looking woman who instantly "accept" you.. the easy way out of coping with that rejection.
but it will leave you feel empty, and solve nothing..

like a person who looks at himself in the gutter in his own puke, after drinking his pain away.
or a fat slum looking how his body is failing as he eats his pain away..
or a person drugging his pain away..

like all those things they cannot CURE the pain.. only Gods Love can cure the pain.. and only fixing the problem, not hiding for it will solve things.

yes there is rejection.. but God does not reject you.
as for human contact :

porn is a hindrance to what you really want : true human relationship, acceptance and love.
and once you see it blocks your REAL desire.. like most adictions you start to hate on it way more..

if You grasp to God, you can only do so by letting go of other things.
