NATO vs BRICS
"Oh, they're not the same thing!"

They are both formidable contenders for world power. Think modern-age Allies vs. Axis powers. Both vying for domination.

that would be fantastic.

NO, It doesn't mirror your BBC video. The message from the BBC video is clear and simple: the project isn't going anywhere just because it's China that's building it. It totally ignores the local politics and the policies of the then Malaysian government which had repeatedly stalled the project.

BRI being debt trap has already been proven time and again to be nothing but a myth by mainstream media and scholars alike. Nobody's talking about debt traps today. Why? Because China hasn't taken or confiscated anything when a project host country has defaulted; in fact, it has forgiven debt from 17 countries. Even if the BBC wanted to, it dares not call it a debt trap.

Also, you can't even use Forest City as a case study to demonstrate that it's a debt trap because 60% of the project was funded by Country Garden and the other 40% was put up by a local Malaysian firm which didn't borrow through BRI. Not to mention this is a 20 year project so it's not even over; in fact since Forest City is right in the middle of the special economic zone, there are plans to revive it and connect it to Singapore through high-speed rail through the HSR project.

Oh by the way, there's no such thing as Cha Bu Duo culture in China. That's an expat myth started by expats decades ago.

You know what your problem is? You do not have an open mind, no analytical skills, don't fact check or question the sources, believe everything you've been fed as long as it suits your preconceived beliefs.

Do you know that SerpentZA said this in his 10 year anniversary video?

SerpentZA: "if I had not moved to China I would in all likelihood be dead and that's no exaggeration. South Africa is not a very nice place to live. Everybody has to live behind high walls barbed wire fences. Thing about China, it's always improving, always being built up, never never stops which it's actually something I like as compared to South Africa which is just kind of decaying... Just you walking around in general out here at night in the cities... China is topnotch it's an incredibly safe place to just meander around. You don't need to worry about personal safety; you don't need to worry about getting mugged or attacked randomly as you walk around in the streets... so China as a whole I should say is actually very safe and I enjoyed my 10 years here so far and hopefully many years to come"

Go watch that video or the one that linked somewhere in this thread that contains the clips.

Anyways, I just want to say that your favorite China hater is actually a China worshiper inside. Everything he does now on camera, it's all just an act to entertain people like you because there are a lot of you who definitely need your daily copium. It's all just business to him. LOL
Cool, then demonstrate your evidence instead of merely re-asserting the same drivel you tried in the past.

Evidence needs BETTER EVIDENCE to dispute it. Something you have not done.

And don't pretned to use the words gaslighting and so on when it's clear I've done nothing of the sort and you don't understand what they mean.

The fact remains you just asserted I'm wrong and offered nothing.
Evidence has been presented over and over to you, and you chose to ignore it.

Did you miss the video by Ben Norton that I posted about Debt Trap? Or you simply don't understand it? Cause does take some skills to understand what he's saying.

Yea the unfortunate truth of those anti china youtubers is that they were losers, as soon as the pro China gravy train dried up they became Zeihan type anti China mouthpieces, their families ability to eat depends on it.

And there's the whabouism fallacies again.

Let's assume yet again that Sri Lanka owes the whoel world massive amounts. Doesn't change the debt trap presented in my evidence does it ?

That still exists. I never made a comparison so again your poor logic fails again.
Amuro0079 Jan 12, 2024 @ 8:40am
Malaysia did not borrow money from China, so where's the debt trap? LOL Are you saying China's debt trapping its own company? Yeah, I'm done with you, man. You can't twist your way out of this.

Didn't they?

Then prove where that money came from for that in the BBC report?

Way to demonstrate your dishonesty again as this shows you clearly didn't even watchg the video did you?

Lol, this gets better.

Country Garden funded 60%, the other 40% came from local firm, through their own funding. Your BBC video mentions no funding, man, so don't try to make things up. You're the only person in the whole world calling BRI a debt trap now after a decade, and if you apply some logic, why would Malaysia new PM chose to stay with BRI and signed news deals with China if they just got scammed by a debt trap. Also, even if Malaysia did borrow from China, which they didn't, they have not yet default on any loans, so you can't use debt trap. That's logic, use some logic, LOL.

Oh, BTW, you obviously haven't watched the first video on Sri Lanka, because at around 2/3 through, even BBC sent someone to Sri Lanka and confirmed it's not debt trap. There's no evidence of debt trap anywhere, not Malaysia, not anywhere.

And who has shares and direction in every Chinese company? The CCP BY LAW.

This is regarding the Belt and Road Intiative. This was built under the Belt and Road initiaitive.

I never said where the money directly came from. YOU DID.

Way to get it wrong again.

I'm not going to as I don't know anything about it.

Unlike you I'm not some wumao.

I only care about facts and evidence purpoting to a claim. But nice strawman again.

LMAO. That's BS. My relatives own some private companies in China and CPC has no shares in them.

If you want to call it a debt trap you have to first know where the money came from and who funded the project. Thailand funded all or most of their projects using their own funds, also, BTW, so no debt trap possible there.

Are they major companies? Small companies as far as I'm aware have certain exemptions, but we're not talking about small companies are we?

If you still think that's not the case then cool, demonstrate your evidence as to why large companies somehow break the Chinese law then.
Choko Jan 12, 2024 @ 9:23am
Lol lol he is doing again breaken own BBC newspaper evidence even 8ball can't do that.
