the only advantage on consoles is, it is harder to cheat in multiplayer games ..

of course are games better "optimized" on consoles if these run on lowest graphic settings and are cutted at 30 fps.. consoles include MINIMUM hardware and use MINIMAL performance, but you pay twice, thrice as much .. just like crApple crap..

my laptop is 24/7 on, and my monthly electricity bill is 7 EUR ... i pay less than 90 EUR a year.. in 2024 our city delivers electricity even cheaper..

i use latest fridge/freezer, latest washing machine, latest dryer, latest microwave, latest coffee machine, latest dish washer.. etc etc etc ...

you dont need to upgrade your PC, it is a choice. Even a 5 years old and non-upgraded PC with a RTX 2080 and "i5" is already 1000x better in performance than a crappy ripping-off console ... and it will be 1000x better non-upgraded in 10 years..

Consoles will die out, just like CD/DVD players.. or these become modifiable like PCs/Mini-PCs..

My last consoles I had used were N64 and PlayStation (1) with Streetfighter EX 2 Plus, WipeOut colleciton etc..

Steam only. Won't bother wasting my time and money with consoles ever again. Console hardware is obsolete before you even buy it, and a pc is way cheaper long run if you know what you are doing. Buying a console is just buying into a brand mostly. If everyone used a pc we would get better games because they would be designed with pc hardware in mind and no more ports. It is predatory how MS and Sony sell these hardware installments like they do, at least nintendo has mario. If I was emperor I would outlaw consoles strictly on the grounds they are a scam.

Fighter games as Tekken, Streetfighter and Dragonball dont need that much resources. Small maps, less resources. You literally walk a few pixels to the left and right. They do run well on consoles, yes..

cant say that for red dead redemption for example.. or GTA 5 and the upcoming GTA VI .. FFXVI ..

excuse me, but PCs have been superior towards consoles for at least 15~20 years..

about 20 years ago and more, consoles were a nice and "cheap" investment. An alternative to these expensive PCs.. a 100 EUR console vs a 1000 EUR PC .. who would say "no" to that..

my little brother was a console fanatic too, he had all consoles from PlayStation 2 upwards, and any Xbox..

Gaming laptops consume about as much power as consoles but their design and mobile components don't make them as powerful as desktop PCs. But yeah, they can reach that performance too. It's just that you have to pay more for mobility.

The screenshots I upload are from PS5 and I don't see difference between the graphical quality of the games I play, and that of their PC counterparts on my friends' screenshots, and my games run smoothly. I play on 60 FPS whenever I have a choice. Why MS won't focus on windows as a platform and do with windows what valve is doing with linux is anyones guess. Windows is already THE platform and MS is going to let valve take it from them using proton...lol. MS should abandon the xbox and change course entirely before both windows and xbox is obsolete, lol.

PC, but one of the advantages of consoles is all the hardware are the same VS. PC hardware is different along with the drivers so games on consoles are stable. Could be why devs place consoles first.

Also, Steam has a ton of the older games from the 2000s. I don't want to get my older consoles out to play older games.
