A difference with the genres is that You´d have like 70% and more male audience on any metal concert or festival, and it´s not that all metal people like every metal music. Then there are these who say that certain bands don´t stay true to their music, or that certain things aren´t metal, because it has to be like this and that - and therefore it´s not good music, etc. Like it was about doing something progressive, and now a good bunch of people are kind of traditionalists - or extremists, and some of those might "hate" rap music...
