why does metal heads hate rap music

i think its very creative form of self expresoon and i like to listen to it evey now and i dont understand the hatred to rapers at all

Each of these Genre have their faults... But they all have a plus, too


RAP = Symbolizes Poverty & Crime, but it also makes catchy songs
Rock = Symbolizes the Devil & Hell, but is also really, really moves the crowd
Metal = Symbolizes Church & Religion, but it also makes your ears bleed as it screams at you
Pop = Symbolizes Culture, but if your not Gay by the end of it, your not listening
Country = Symbolizes Rodeos & Rowdyness, but it also suggests you have a ho down
Disco = Symbolizes Party Dance Offs, but if your not stoned by the End, your doin it wrong
Techno = Symbolizes Robotic AI, but also suggests you live in the Matrix, World isn't Real
Jazz = Symbolizes Sadness, but if your not depressed, it's not Jazz enough for you

Blues = Symbolizes Sadness, but if you haven't wrecked 150 Cars by the end of a Movie, you aren't a brother

R&B Beat Boop = Symbolizes Language, but it's also great once you understand the nonsense





I'll just stick to Rock, it moves the crowd, & that's good eough for me...

What is hilarious is that rap is all beats with a sometimes catchy chorus. Remove the annoying lyrics, and suddenly the background music often sounds a lot better.

I've always hated the themes talked about by rappers, always about hellholes, crimes and false excuses to stay in it and do more crimes. From my point of view it's a music for weakminded peoples who have nothing interesting to bring to this world. It inspire me only disgust. No matter how much they try to collaborate with luxury brands and so on, it will never wash away the scum's vibe I hate so much about it.

In the end it´s a matter of taste, but both genres have more mainstream music, which are more made up by the music industry - and certain other things going on, which is then about what You said in the OP, self-expression, either just to have fun, or to spread some message, or just to do something creative. And if it´s about the latter, usually the music genre doesn´t matter much, as people are able to appreciate what the others do, as the intention is the same, even if they wouldn´t necessarily like the genre as a whole, or listen to it for longer.

A difference with the genres is that You´d have like 70% and more male audience on any metal concert or festival, and it´s not that all metal people like every metal music. Then there are these who say that certain bands don´t stay true to their music, or that certain things aren´t metal, because it has to be like this and that - and therefore it´s not good music, etc. Like it was about doing something progressive, and now a good bunch of people are kind of traditionalists - or extremists, and some of those might "hate" rap music...
