Mostly because I lived in it for three years and I know what the rules are.
Japan can closet racist to outsiders but superficially really nice
Korea welcoming but yoy hear stories of people fleeing teaching english jobs
China seems nice but its also has the totalitarian streak
California has the superficial plastic surgery and drive nice car you dont own thing. But you also find some nice country californians
So yeah all cultures have problems n good things
IKEA in Japan has a Blåhaj as their mascot. They instantly win in my book.
That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard in my life.
And that's having lived in Korea and learned the hard way to not equate Korean culture with Japanese or Chinese.
It's all about business.. And I do mean it in a negative way.
But from outsider perspective, one could say Japan sure has many tourist attractions (of culture), of many people are attracted to.
